Planning your wedding in 2026? Wedding photography trends are leaning more personal, cinematic and story-driven than ever before. From candid moments and nostalgic film photography to editorial bridal portraits, flash photography, drone shots and true-to-colour editing, couples are focusing less on perfect poses and more on capturing how the day actually felt. Whether you’re planning a big celebration, an intimate elopement or a relaxed beach wedding, these 2026 wedding photography trends are all about personality, movement, emotion and creating a gallery that feels genuinely yours.
Georgia & Mitchell’s wedding at Gracelands was bright, relaxed and full of the kind of joy you can feel straight away. Their day brought together everything they love, beautiful garden surrounds, an intimate courtyard setting, and a playful colour palette of yellow, white, green and hints of blue that gave the whole celebration such a fresh, happy feel. But beyond the styling, this wedding was all about the two of them and the life they’ve built together. From meeting at the pub in their early twenties to travelling the world, bringing home their golden retriever Bodhi, and getting engaged during a sunrise hot air balloon over the Serengeti, their story is equal parts fun, thoughtful, and unforgettable. Gracelands ended up being the perfect place to bring it all together, laid-back, heartfelt, and filled with the people they love most.
Spoon Bay Gelato is the kind of brand that feels instantly familiar if you know Avoca Beach… sunny, relaxed, community-minded, and full of genuine heart. This branding session was about more than just product photos. It followed the full story of the brand, from chef-made gelato and behind-the-counter moments to family portraits, customer interactions, shopfront details, and sunset scenes by the water. The result is a gallery that feels premium but never stiff, polished but still full of movement, warmth, and that unmistakable Coastie energy that makes people want to keep coming back.
The first days at home with a newborn have a way of slowing everything down. Wrapped in soft blankets and surrounded by gentle window light, this little one was held close through sleepy cuddles, quiet moments and that beautiful newborn haze. It’s the kind of time that feels calm, intimate and full of love, where every tiny detail matters and every moment feels worth holding onto.
Blueys Beach was such a perfect fit for Courtney & Nic’s wedding day -relaxed, coastal and full of that summery energy that makes beach weddings feel so good. With tropical touches woven through the styling and the ocean setting doing what it does best, the whole day felt warm, easy and genuinely fun. Their story started with one cheeky message and a spontaneous drive down the coast, so it felt pretty fitting that they ended up celebrating in a place that matched that same laid-back, adventurous spirit. From the excitement of seeing each other at the end of the aisle to soaking up the day with their favourite people, this was one of those weddings that felt effortlessly joyful from beginning to end.
