Grab a coffee. Jump on a Zoom call. Have a chat.

By the end of that conversation, ask yourself one question...

Do they feel like someone I'd actually want to spend my wedding day with?

The best photographers don't feel like another vendor. They feel like a trusted friend who just happens to have a camera.

Experience is more than knowing how to use a camera.

Anyone can learn camera settings.

Experience is knowing when to step in... and when to step back.

It's confidently organising family photos so you're back enjoying cocktail hour in ten minutes.

It's knowing when not to interrupt your mum's hug before the ceremony.

It's quietly fixing a veil before anyone notices.

It's reading the room.

The best photographers somehow create a gallery that feels like they were everywhere... while you barely noticed they were there.

Don't judge a photographer by Instagram.

Instagram is a highlight reel.

Ask to see a full wedding gallery instead.

Can they photograph harsh midday sun, candlelit receptions and wild dance floors just as beautifully assunset portraits?
